Quilted Faces
Celebrating a "Great Run"
IN MEMORY OF Above is a full body photo of our dog, Woofus on the happiest day of his life.
My Quilting Buddy
Woofus
1994-2008
He was my quilting buddy for almost 14 years, laying under my feet as I sewed and quilted.
I miss him terribly and hope my quilting will help mend my heart.

Nan and Woofus puppy Nate and his dog
Our son Nate found Woofie when he was a junior in high school when his Math teacher announced in class his dog was giving birth to puppies soon. Nate came home and told us about it with hope in his eyes. I was not real excited about the idea of another being to care for since my husband and I had five teenagers and a cat, three jobs between us and a cat. Nate promised to take care of him (how many parents have heard that).
What the heck, we went to "see" the puppies. Big mistake! There was this tiny "party mix" half-poodle, half-shitzu ball of downy fur. He nuzzled my face and I was lost...
In the photos following you will see that Nate really did take care of the dog, as we all did. We couldn't help ourselves. He gave us so much.
